6 - 7 March 2024, TAR UMT Perak - The TAR UMT Bazaar, held in collaboration with MoU partner, All Motive Sdn. Bhd., an event company, was a resounding success! Over two days, the University was filled with vibrant booths, a Mini Kitchen workshop, captivating performances, and creative expressions. A total of 15 societies set up booths during the bazaar and recruited members. From cultural showcases to exciting activities, the event highlighted the diversity and talents of our community. The bazaar welcomed visitors from near and far, creating connections and fostering a sense of unity. It was a joyous celebration that highlighted the diversity that makes our community unique.

7 March 2024, TAR UMT Perak - TAR UMT and All Motive Sdn. Bhd. have solidified their collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership aims to enrich students' experiences by offering opportunities such as internships, career guidance, and collaborative projects.

7 March 2024, TAR UMT Perak - The "Throwback to Childhood'' Carnival organized by the Chinese Language Society aimed to evoke nostalgic memories of childhood, encouraging participants to set aside their worries and embrace innocence and joy. Featuring performances such as the Main Campus Diabolo, Pei Yuan High School (Kampar) Martial Arts Troupe, Clown Magic Show, UTAR students, and our campus Dancing Society, the event promised a blend of cultural and childhood experiences. Notably, esteemed figures including President Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei, Markeve2go person-in-charge Dr. Joanne, and our Perak Branch Head graciously participated in this unique celebration.

11 March 2024, Kerian, Perak - Mr. Hong Kok Pan, the counselor, conducted a Ceramah Kerjaya (Eleven Elements for Sales) workshop together with a fun game for 145 students of SMJK Choong Hua, Bidor.

11 March 2024, TAR UMT Perak - To educate students on how to stay safe from scams, a police officer was invited to  TAR UMT Perak Branch today to deliver a talk.

The talk, aimed at raising an awareness about the various types of scams and how to avoid them, provided students with valuable information on how to protect themselves from falling victim to fraudulent schemes.

By educating students about scams, they can make informed decisions and protect themselves from financial loss.

The collaboration with Chang Jiang International Sdn. Bhd. introduced industry problem statements into the ABDT3403 Social Media Marketing assignments for students pursuing Diploma in Business Administration and Diploma in E-Marketing. On 11 March 2024, 22 students had the opportunity to visit the company. Mr. Eric Yeong, the Manager, shared invaluable insights that significantly enhanced the students' learning experience and improved their assignment outcomes.

25 - 27 March 2024, TAR UMT Perak - TAR UMT Perak Branch organized a blood donation campaign facilitated by the First Aid Unit Society, with 67 donors including students and staff participating. The campaign aimed to bolster the blood bank supply at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun in Ipoh while fostering a culture of compassion on campus alongside academic pursuits.

30 March 2024, TAR UMT Perak - It's fantastic to hear about the success of the Swimming Competition organized by the Swimming Society of the Perak Branch. With 48 participants from various institutions including TAR UMT Perak Branch, TAR UMT Johor Branch, TAR UMT KL Main Campus, University Technology Petronas (UTP), and University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), it has been a competitive and exciting event. 

An event like this not only fosters a sense of camaraderie among students but also promotes healthy competition and sportsmanship. Kudos to all the organizers, participants, and supporters who contributed to making this event a success. Such initiatives truly enhance the university experience and create memorable moments for everyone involved.
