9 March 2023, Ipoh - Students had the opportunity to visit KK Smart Ecommerce to witness how the ERP systems work in the E-Commerce industry beyond the theory of subjects by actually experiencing and seeing them in real life.A field trip plays a vital role in students’ learning experience. It helps students to learn through authentic experiences and can be an interesting way to explore new things.

11 March 2023, TAR UMT Perak - A total of 230 students attended an online workshop conducted by Ms Sany Low, CEO of Trend Global. The talk was an eye-opener to students on the various online marketing approaches as well as the power of digital platforms. Students were also given the opportunity to sign up to learn how to do hands-on marketing of products.

15 March 2023, TAR UMT Perak - Mr Koh from KK Smart Ecommerce delivered a guest lecture to Diploma in E-marketing, Diploma in Business Administration, and Diploma in Information System students who are taking the Electronic Commerce course this semester. Titled “The Overview of Electronic Commerce”, a total of 81 students benefitted from Mr Koh's rich experience in the industry. Truly an informative sharing session where students gained insights about the necessary infrastructures, tools and platforms for setting up an E-Commerce business.

20 March 2023, TAR UMT Perak - A fruitful sharing session on Media Practices vs Public Expectations was organised by Faculty of Communication and Creative Industries (FCCI), Perak Branch. The talk was presented by Mr Yeap Thiam Hoong, who is also a guest critic and commentator of radio AiFM and RTM. The session was mainly attended by students from Communication & Media Studies programmes.

20 March 2023, Bidor - A Career Talk was conducted by Mr Hong Kok Pan, our student counsellor for 145 Form 4 students of SMJK Choong Hua. They were guided to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and interests, and given a clearer picture of the career paths available to them.

25 March 2023, TAR UMT Perak - TAR UMT signed an MOU with EGroup Tech Sdn. Bhd., Exacom Solutions Sdn. Bhd. and KK Smart Ecommerce Sdn. Bhd, paving the way for a fruitful partnership. This collaboration marks the students' exploration into a world that has the potential to shape the trajectory of their lives and careers. By working together, we can provide students with meaningful opportunities to gain hands-on experience, develop relevant skills, and prepare them for future success in their chosen fields..

29 March 2023, TAR UMT Perak - A fruitful sharing session on The New Trend of Digital Marketing - “Little Red Book” was organised by the Department of Accountancy And Business (DACB), Perak Branch. The talk was presented by Ms Quennie Wong, who is also a Marketing Director at SS High Tech Sdn Bhd. The session was attended not only by students from Business Studies programmes but also students across various programmes in the Perak Branch.
