9 June 2023, Ipoh - Mr Hong Kok Pan, the counsellor, conducted a team building workshop to 100 students of SMK Dr. Megat Khas, Ipoh. 

12 June 2023, Teluk Intan - A team of 4 English lecturers and an officer went to SM San Min (SUWA) to conduct an English Camp for 145 students. It was a good opportunity for them to build confidence, feel good about themselves and learn new activities they will continue long in daily life. It is not only about improving their language skills, but the experience can mean much more to them.

26 - 28 June 2023, TAR UMT Perak - The last week of June 2023 was certainly an exciting week full of events, activities and informative sessions. The Orientation Programme helped our freshmen make friends, have fun, learn about key support staff and services and get to know about all the incredible things TAR UMT Perak Branch has in store for them before kick-starting their academic journey.

5 July 2023, TAR UMT Perak - The Freshmen Night which was organised by the Music Society to orient and welcome the freshies to our university. Besides introducing them to academic aspects during their Orientation Week, the Freshmen Night was intended to  share with them the social aspects of an institution as they transition from secondary schools. Many games and performances were put on for them.

5 July 2023, Ipoh - Mr Hong Kok Pan, the counsellor, conducted a teambuilding and leadership workshop to 80 students of SMK Jalan Pasir Puteh, Ipoh.

5 July - 13 August 2023, TAR UMT Perak - Malaysia Design Development Centre (DDEC) selected TAR UMT Perak Branch as their Training Provider under empowerNCER Program for Kursus Penyediaan dan Penyajian Makanan Daerah Kampar. All the participants are from the B40 community aged from 18 to 50 years old. The participants learned a variety of dishes from Western Cuisine and Asian Cuisine.

11 July 2023, TAR UMT Perak - 18 students from various programmes attended the Time Management Strategies workshop held on campus, aiming at helping them kick-start their new semester confidently. 

15 July 2023, TAR UMT Perak - The Basketball Society talent search went campus-wide for its 3V3 Competition looking for players who possess both the tangible traits and intangible qualities that stand out to represent the TAR UMT Basketball Team. 12 teams competed in good sportsmanship, and the MC Flurry team was nominated the winner. Winning or losing doesn't matter, what matters are the exposure, experience and healthy lifestyles gained. 

18 July 2023, TAR UMT Perak - FSSH students were truly blessed with a visit from our alumnus, Mr Tan Chong Leong, a Junior Sous Chef at Hai Yan, Ritz Carlton, Langkawi. It was a great platform for them to gather knowledge from his experiences, who shared the importance of self development and career prospects in the hotel industry. The session commenced with eager anticipation and excitement, filled with enthusiasm and passion that sparked their interests in the field of hospitality. 

26 July 2023, Taiping - Puan Siti Zulaikha Binti Ismail, our Course Leader of DLAN, conducted a Résumé Writing Workshop to 90 students of SMK Matang, Taiping.
