20 May 2026, Bidor - ARENA MISI PEMIMPIN MUDA: From Silent to Unstoppable
SMK Syeikh Abdul Ghani came alive with energy as 199 student leaders gathered for Arena Misi Pemimpin Muda, a high-impact leadership challenge designed to test teamwork, communication and resilience.
What started as a hall full of quiet, hesitant and introverted students quickly transformed into an arena of excitement, laughter and competitive spirit. The turning point came during Menara Sepakat: Zero to Hero, where teams raced to build the tallest paper tower using only A4 paper. From that moment onwards, the momentum never stopped.
Students pushed themselves through exciting missions such as Regu Botol and Langkah Sehaluan where communication, coordination and teamwork became the key to survival. Surprisingly, many groups became so invested in the challenges that they were visibly disappointed when Langkah Sehaluan ended due to time constraints, a clear sign of how engaged and connected they had become throughout the programme.
More than just games, the activities taught students valuable lessons about leadership, patience, trust and working together under pressure.
By the end of the programme, students did not leave as individuals from different leadership units but they left as stronger, more united teams ready to lead together.
TAR UMT Perak Branch, Faculty of Communication and Creative Industries, has been awarded a RM25,000 grant by the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) under the Reel Madani@Kampus Programme Bil. 1/2026.
