The event featured 8 talented finalists, along with special performances by ex-finalists and invited judges, creating a lively atmosphere that captivated the audience.

On 05 September 2025, The Hospitality and Catering Management students made a big splash with Aquanite 2025, an unforgettable evening bursting with energy, laughter and good vibes!
From thrilling water games to exciting station challenges, the event kept everyone buzzing with fun and friendly competition. Guests also enjoyed a mouth-watering variety of food and beverages, each crafted with creativity and passion by the students themselves.
As the night came alive, the Dancing Society wowed the crowd with their electrifying performances, followed by a vibrant Finalist Showcase that celebrated talent and teamwork. The DJ then took over, turning the venue into a full-blown party under the stars!
Aquanite 2025 wasn’t just a night out but a celebration of friendship, flavor and festive spirit, leaving everyone with memories to last a lifetime.

Circle of Care Event Brings Hope and Support to Community

The Circle of Care Event celebrated the spirit of giving and collaboration as FCCI students transformed weeks of planning into a vibrant programme blending creativity, learning and social responsibility.
After 11 weeks of preparation, 15 students from the Diploma in Public Relations (Y2S1) and Bachelor in Communication Studies (Y2S3 & Y3S1) showcased their project, raising contributions for four orphanage homes:
Pertubuhan Badan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Darussalam, Ipoh
Rainbow Children Home
Pertubuhan Pengurusan Pusat Jagaan 1 Malaysia, Perak
Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim/Miskin Dahikmah
Donations included cash, groceries, stationery and sponsored items, with part of the funds supporting the TAR UMT Student Fund Loan for students in need.
The event’s success was powered by generous sponsors, dedicated TAR UMT staff, and the Leo’s Club facilitators. The advisors praised the students’ commitment, saying, “We hope everyone leaves with a fun and meaningful experience.”
Circle of Care proved that classroom learning can spark real-world impact, bringing joy, support and hope to the community.

REVY3S1, REVY2S1 and DTMY2S1 headed to the MATTA Fair at MITEC Kuala Lumpur, diving into the world of tourism through an immersive Education Tour.
Highlights included:
Sustainability in Tourism – learning about High Value, Low Impact Tourism and the role of responsible travel in protecting destinations.
Marketing, Promotion & Sales – seeing firsthand how tourism products are creatively marketed to attract audiences.
Industry Trends – exploring the latest innovations, emerging destinations and global travel patterns shaping tourism.
Professional Engagement – connecting with tourism operators, sharpening communication skills and expanding industry knowledge.
The tour bridged classroom theory with real-world practice, inspiring students to think critically about the future of tourism and their role as the next generation of industry professionals.

A team of 37 passionate staff and students came together to plant 500 mangrove trees at Tanjung Burong. The day was filled with teamwork, laughter and unforgettable memories, despite the challenges.

In a meaningful collaboration between the First Aid Unit Society and Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, the Blood Donation Campaign successfully drew 28 donors, including students and staff, at Block G, DSA Hall, TAR UMT Perak.
The campaign not only supported the blood bank but also fostered a spirit of compassion and community care across campus.

Tarcian Run
On 13 September 2025, the spirit of TARCian Run 2025 was alive and buzzing on campus as 101 energetic participants from Perak Branch took part in this annual highlight.
Runners dashed with full energy, while walkers enjoyed a relaxed stroll with friends and family, taking in the scenic SPE Highway views. Crossing the Skyfield at TAR UMT’s Arena added an extra splash of excitement, making this year’s finish truly unforgettable.
A perfect blend of fitness, fun and campus vibes, TARCian Run 2025 brought everyone together for a long weekend kickstart like no other.

Educational Trip to Perlis by TAR UMT Event Management Students
11 September 2025, Perlis - Educational Trip: Event Management in Action
After nearly three months of planning with Tourism Perlis and the Kerajaan Negeri Perlis, the Bachelor of Tourism Management (Hons) Event Management students, guided by their DSSH lecturers, hit the road to Perlis for an unforgettable hands-on learning trip.
The trip offered a mix of learning and hands-on experience, featuring participation in the Pesta Air Antarabangsa Opening Ceremony, a CSR Kampung Beautification Project and exploration of local attractions.
Beyond classroom theory, this journey gave students a firsthand look at event management in community and tourism settings, strengthening their professional skills and passion for the industry.
A meaningful and memorable adventure and a proud showcase of TAR UMT Perak’s experiential learning spirit.

S.M. San Min (SUWA) Hosts S2 English Day 2025 – Learning, Fun and Language in Action!
The English Department of S.M. San Min (SUWA) turned up the energy for S2 English Day 2025, giving students a fun-packed morning to sharpen their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
The day kicked off with a lively welcome by Yong Kun Xiang (S2X), setting the tone for a morning full of excitement. A highlight was the participation of TAR UMT Perak students and lecturers, who ran interactive station games that had everyone thinking, speaking and laughing: Mystery Interview, Instructional Maze, Riddle Hunt, Caption This and grammar challenges like Phrasal Verb Jenga, Preposition Quest, Transition Tag, Adverb & Adjective Adventure and Sentence Lab Dash.
Guided by Puan Siti Zulaikha binti Ismail, with support from Ms. Noor Yang Azlinda and Ms. Tan Siew Siew, the event ran smoothly, blending learning with loads of fun.

Giving Back to the Community
24 September 2025, Ipoh - Giving Back to the Community
Our team of 3 staff and 1 student brought fun, energy and learning to SK Methodist ACS Ipoh through a lively CSR Programme.
The day was packed with team-building games and core-strengthening activities, sparking smiles and excitement among 15 teachers and 230 students from Standards 4, 5 and 6.
Beyond the fun, students sharpened leadership, problem-solving and time management skills, the lessons that reach far beyond the classroom.
Langkah Pertama Masa Depan: SPM, Sebelum Segalanya Terlambat – Tangisan Yang Tiada Suara
On 24 September 2025, We had the privilege of engaging 80 enthusiastic Form 5 students of SMK Seri Kampar in a motivational workshop designed to empower them as they navigate their SPM journey. Adding a fun twist, both students and teachers donned retro-themed outfits, bringing energy, color and a sense of nostalgia to the session.
The workshop, themed around taking the first steps toward a successful future, encouraged students to reflect on their goals, embrace resilience and take action before it’s too late because every decision today shapes tomorrow.
Through interactive discussions, practical strategies and heartfelt encouragement, the students explored ways to manage stress, build self-confidence and stay motivated in the face of academic challenges. The session emphasized not just exam preparation but also personal growth, self-awareness and the power of persistence, truly touching on the “Tangisan Yang Tiada Suara” within every learner striving to succeed.
A heartfelt thank you to SMK Seri Kampar for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to connect with your students. It was inspiring to share knowledge, spark motivation and witness young minds ignite with possibility. We hope every participant walked away with renewed confidence, actionable strategies and the courage to take their first step toward a bright future.

KejohananBola Keranjang Piala 3x3 Belia Dun Jalong 2025
On 27 and 28 September 2025, TAR UMT Perak Branch participated in the Kejohanan Bola Keranjang Piala 3x3 Belia Dun Jalong 2025 held at Kg Baru Rimba Panjang, Sungai Siput, Perak on 27 and 28 September 2025. A total of 20 teams took part in the competition. The TAR UMT team displayed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination throughout the tournament, successfully securing 4th place overall. This achievement reflects the students’ commitment and effort in representing TAR UMT Perak Branch in co-curricular sports activities. Congratulations to the team for their excellent performance and spirited participation.
