Activities 

On March 10, 2025, 22 of our students had the incredible opportunity to conduct interactive games, English, and Math workshops with 54 enthusiastic students from Standard 4, 5, and 6 at SJKC Brinchang.

From fun-filled educational activities to exciting games, both groups had a fantastic time learning and engaging with one another. The energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm displayed by the students made this experience truly unforgettable!

A heartfelt thank you to Pn Chin, the Headmistress of SJKC Brinchang, for her warm hospitality and support in making this collaboration possible. We truly appreciate the school's enthusiasm and active participation. This experience will surely remain a cherished memory—especially in the cool and scenic Cameron Highlands!

13 March 2025, TAR UMT Perak - Mr. Mohammed Jamal Nasser Al Maidama, the Director of Sales and Marketing at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort, along with his colleagues Ms. Vivian and Ms. Sharifah, conducted a virtual industrial talk for students from the Department of Accountancy and Business. The session attracted an audience of around 80 students pursuing studies in Diploma in Marketing, Diploma in E-Marketing, Diploma in Business Administration, and Bachelor of Business Administration.

The speakers delivered an informative presentation, sharing the company’s Social Media Marketing success stories in engaging both local and foreign tourists through their social media campaigns. Students gained valuable insights into the practical application of Social Media Marketing strategies, receiving positive feedback and enhancing their understanding of a key topic relevant to their studies at TAR UMT.

Two Student Representative Council (SRC) members from , Lee Jia Yong (Vice President) and Lim Jay Xhun (Secretary), represented  TAR UMT Perak Branch at the “LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, ACTION, DETERMINATION, EXPERIENCE (LEADX) SYMPOSIUM” and the “IN PERSON WITH DOC ZAM” programme held on 13–14 March 2025 at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET). This symposium served as a platform for student leaders from Private Higher Education Institutions (IPTS) to engage in discussions on leadership issues and provided a valuable opportunity to interact directly with the Honourable Minister of Higher Education.

20 March 2025, TAR UMT Perak - An insightful session was successfully hosted with Bangi Resort Hotel. This session provided students with the opportunity to explore the future of the hospitality industry and potential career paths in this dynamic field.

Through this engagement, students gained valuable insights into industry expectations, which will help them prepare for a smooth transition from campus to the professional world. In addition to career guidance, the talk emphasized the essential skills, qualities, and mindset required to excel in the hospitality industry. From guest experience management to operational excellence, students now have a clearer understanding of what it takes to succeed. A heartfelt thank you to Bangi Resort Hotel for sharing their expertise and inspiring our students. We look forward to organizing more sessions that bridge education with real-world industry experience.

22 March 2025, TAR UMT Perak - The Student Sport Committee (SSC) successfully hosted the Speed Strikers Running Man Event, drawing enthusiastic participants from both TAR UMT Perak and UTAR, making it a major success.

The event featured a series of high-energy challenges, testing speed, endurance, and agility. With categories designed for all skill levels, the event provided excitement and inclusivity for everyone. The smooth coordination and careful planning by the organizing team ensured everything ran seamlessly.

The Speed Strikers Running Man Event proved to be a hit, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a great sense of enthusiasm among students. Positive feedback suggests this could become an annual event in the future.

25 March 2025, TAR UMT Perak - Mr. Cesar Nieto Ocana, International Relations Officer at the University of Jaén, Spain, delivered an engaging session on international trade between Spain and Malaysia.

He highlighted the immense potential and mutual benefits that both countries can tap into through strategic trade partnerships. Mr. Nieto also shared practical tips for getting started in international trade and recommended reliable sources of information to support effective planning and decision-making. The session offered valuable global perspectives to students exploring opportunities in international business.

25 – 27 March 2025, TAR UMT Perak – TAR UMT Perak Branch successfully organized a blood donation campaign in collaboration with the First Aid Unit Society, with 64 generous donors, including both students and staff, participating.

The campaign’s primary goal was to strengthen the blood bank supply at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun in Ipoh while also nurturing a culture of compassion and social responsibility on campus, complementing our academic endeavors.

28 March 2025, Taiping - A big thank you to SMK Matang, Taiping Perak, for welcoming us to their leadership and team-building workshop! It was an amazing opportunity to engage with the students and be a part of their learning journey. We hope they found the interactive session both fun and valuable! Can’t wait to connect again soon!
