National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS)

24 May 2026, TAR UMT Perak Branch, Faculty of Communication and Creative Industries, has been awarded a RM25,000 grant by the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) under the Reel Madani@Kampus Programme Bil. 1/2026. The grant will fund the production of a short film titled "Pluto Dari Bidor", themed around Malaysia Madani: Melestarikan Perpaduan di Kalangan Masyarakat (Preserving Unity Within the Community). The project is led by Tan Shan Tze and her team — students from the Bachelor of Communication Studies (Honours), Diploma in Communication and Media Studies, and Diploma in Public Relations programmes.
