14 December 2025, Cisco APJC NetAcad Riders 2025

Mak Chun Wah and Chan Wei Louh were students from TAR UMT Perak Branch. They had studied Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) in Software Systems Development. The two students had participated in the Cisco APJC NetAcad Riders Competition in 2025. The online international competition was held on 9 April 2025. Mak Chun Wah won Silver Certification that is awarded by Cisco and Chan Wei Louh won Bronze Certification that is awarded by Cisco.

Overall, Mak Chun Wah was the top student from TAR UMT in the Cisco APJC NetAcad Riders 2025 and was awarded with Outstanding NTT Data & Cisco Award for year 2025 by Faculty of Computing and Information Technology of TAR UMT. Mak Chun Wah was the champion and he received the award with a cash price of RM1000 during the recent convocation that held on 14 December 2025 at TAR UMT Perak Branch.
